The Contemplative Group will meet Wednesday, October 2 at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room at Good Shepherd. We begin with 20 minutes of contemplative prayer/meditation, followed by a teaching and discussion. This month we will begin a new series by Fr. Richard Rohr called Exploring and Experiencing The Naked Now – a program based on the main themes of his best-selling book. Contemplative seeing is the “lost treasure” from our Christian Tradition. This series opens Scripture to reveal the goal of religion.

TAIZÉ SERVICE – A service in the style of Taizé will be offered Saturday, September 28 at the 5:30 service at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. This is a service of quiet contemplation, scripture readings and chant, followed by Holy Eucharist. All are welcome!

Adult Forum will meet on Sunday, September 2, at 11:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. This month we conclude our study of “Painting the Stars: Science, Religion and an Evolving Faith”. The focus presentation will be “An Evolving Spirituality: Mysticism”. Who are the mystics? Are there any walking among us today? Are WE called to be mystics?
