“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” – Psalm 100
Under the capable leadership of Director of Music and Organist, Meg Dutill, Good Shepherd enjoys the music of several choirs.
Good Shepherd’s Adult Choir enhances the liturgy by lifting their voices in song, and by providing vocal support to the congregation at the 10 AM service and at other designated times throughout the year. Practice is held on Thursday evening at 7:30. New members are always welcome to be part of this choral ministry.
The Handbell Choir enhances our worship services at various times throughout the year. The medley of songs offered at the late Christmas Eve service is a highlight of the evening. New members are welcome and music reading is not required, just a willingness to learn. Currently, the Choir practices at 6:30 on Wednesday evenings.
Our children have the opportunity to make a “joyful noise” in the Children’s Choir. This choir sings at the early Christmas Eve service, the Christmas pageant, and various times throughout the year. Practices are held after the 10 AM service on select Sundays.
