Have you ever wanted to sing with the choir but weren’t ready for a long-term commitment? Have you ever wanted to participate in the tradition of our Lenten cantata? Your time has come! Come join the choir and prepare to perform The Weeping Tree, which will be presented at the March 29 service. Show up Thursday nights at 7:15 starting Feb. 20. All are welcome!

Adult choir practice begins September 5th at 7PM in the choir room and resumes singing at the “Welcome Home”  Sunday morning 10AM service on September 8th. We are always looking for new members. If you are interested please contact Jen Fisicaro or speak to any choir member for more information.

Jen is excited for the opportunity to be the new organist/music director at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Jen has lived in Pitman most of her life and currently resides here with her husband, Bobby, and two children, Michael and Anna. God’s gift of music has always been an important part of Jen’s life. She has played piano since a young age, accompanied choirs, sang in select choir groups, and performed in musicals. Jen taught piano lessons for many years and was the church organist at several different churches as well. From 2010-2013, she was the music director at Our Father’s House Preschool in Pitman. Jen currently teaches special education at Kingsway Middle School. She hopes to bless others by sharing her passion for worshiping God through music!

Bell Choir rehearsals will resume this Thursday, October 4th at 630 PM in the choir room. Please come and join us!
