The next study for our Thursday Group will be of Bishop John Shelby Spong’s book Why Christianity Must Change or Die.  During last spring and the course of this school year, the predicament Christianity finds itself in with declining attendance and membership has become paramount in our discussions.  Bishop Spong wrote this book about 20 years ago.  We decided that we would read it and discuss which insights have come to past, which ones we agree on and those we don’t (of course we all may not be in full agreement on these either!)  However, the discussion should prove interesting.  Purchase a copy of the book (available on Amazon) and come prepared having read the first Chapter for our meeting on February 13 at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.  Questions?  Contact Mel Caron at melanieannecaron@gmail.com
