The Thursday Study Group will resume this week, January 9, at 9:30 a.m. in the Conference Room.  We continue with Session Four of “Painting the Stars: Science, Religion and an Evolving Faith.”  At our last session we took a closer look at the Creation Stories.  In this session we will take a closer look at An Evolving Faith.  Faith isn’t stagnant.  We’re not meant to carry the faith of our childhood, but rather allow that faith to mature in it’s depth and understanding as we moved into and beyond adulthood.  My faith isn’t the same now as it was even five years ago and I don’t expect it to be the same in the next five years!  I’d be disappointed if it was as it would mean I haven’t been growing spiritually.  Come and join us for this video presentation by scientists, physicists, theologians and biblical scholars and a discussion by the group.
