Beginning this Thursday, November 6, we will begin a new study titled “Painting the Stars: Science, Religion and an Evolving Faith.”  This is a study of the communion of faith and science, exploring the promise of evolutionary Christian Spirituality. Rachel Held Evans said that it is risky to continue to evolve as a person – “Risk is harmonizing my conviction, my faith, my desire to follow Jesus Christ with what I see in the world, with what I observe, with what I’ve been taught growing up versus what I encounter as a young adult myself.”  Join us at 9:30 a.m. as we look at this week’s topic, “Toward Healing the Rift.”
