Our Thursday Bible Study will begin studying “Jesus and Buddha: Paths to Awakening” beginning on Thursday, February 7, 9:30-11 a.m. in the Conference Room.  Using a curriculum presented by Fr. Richard Rohr, (a Franciscan and founder of the Center of Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, NM and James Finley, a former Trappist monk who studied under Thomas Merton at the Abbey of Gethesemani in Kentucky), we will take a close look at the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths and the teachings of Jesus found in the gospels.  This will be an 8-week series.
