Lock in fun!

Our Lock In was a huge success! After playing some team building games, the group was split up to play an intense game of “Top Chef-Pantry Edition.” Both teams had only the ingredients found in a typical bag of groceries given out in the Pitman Pantry and were required to make a dinner and a dessert to be presented and judged. If anything additional was needed that isn’t usually given out (eggs, milk, etc.) we had to “work” for it.

The “Nummy Ninjas” made a delicious Corn flake chicken atop a bed of homemade mashed potatoes, topped with peas in a barbecue sauce reduction. Dessert was a homemade Tandy Cake (vanilla cake, peanut butter, and melted chocolate)

“Bobby and the Flays” were the winner by a mere point! They prepared a beautiful stir fry over rice with loads of veggies, followed by a peanut butter and jelly cake.

We finished the night with more games and a movie, and had some delicious pancakes for breakfast! A great time was had by everyone, and we look forward to the next one!
